Salary Details: Salary R7 500 per month plus commission (R800 per new member) Commission earning potential of R15 000 to R45 000 per month
My client that plays a leading role in developing sound tax policy and shaping fiscal legislation through participation in and dialogue with parliament has an exciting opportunity for a Membership Sales Consultant to join the team and increase company revenue by achieving membership sales targets.
Responsible for contacting potential or existing members to inform them about a product or service answering questions about products of the company asking questions to understand customer requirements and close sales. No cold calling list will be given otherwise mostly inbound sales.
In order to be considered the following is required:
Matric
Computer Skills: Intermediate MS Word MS Excel MS Outlook
Working knowledge of GSuite
Minimum 3x years internal sales experience within a call centre environment
Minimum 1x year service sales experience
Ability to listen to determine customer needs
Ability to negotiate and to persuade customers to take out membership with the company
Wellspoken in the English language

Sales:
Achieve all set sales targets by actively calling or responding to all potential or existing members and convert them to taking out or continuing membership with the business
Achieve all set events sales targets by actively calling or responding to all potential and/or existing interested members or stakeholders
Handling Member Queries:
Make notes for all calls on applicable member profile immediately after the call
Resolve all telephonic queries that does not have to be escalated immediately. Only escalate if it cannot be resolved
Respond and resolve all email queries that does not have to be escalated within 24 hours. Only escalate if it cannot be resolved
Escalate all queries that cannot be resolved to the Team Leader immediately after being unable to resolve it
Provide feedback to customers within 48 hours and make follow ups if required
Activation of New Members:
Call all newly activated members within 24 hours after being notified of them to welcome and advise them of the process forward as per the Standard Operations Procedure (SOPs)
Send standard welcoming email with standard attachments to all newly activated members immediately after calling them
Correctly issue Practicing License as per SOPs to all newly activated members immediately after emailing them
Correctly create a SARS Member profile for all newly created members if required by the designation on the same day as welcoming email
Order and distribute a Membership Certificate to all newly activated members within one month after calling them.
Ensure there are always a minimum of 500 blank certificate stock levels available at the selected printers
Ensure correct detailed certificates as per dashboard on each list are ordered within two weeks after payment has been received
Administrative Support:
Suspend cancel or activate all existing members as applicable on SARS efiling within 24 hours after the Debtors consultant had loaded it on the Income Tax list and update the list accordingly
Keep the individual dashboard correctly updated daily
Weekly remove cancelled memberships from the TaxTalk mailing list and send an email confirmation advising members of membership cancellation
