Serve as an M365Subject Matter Expert to both advice and guide the customer and the technicalmembers of the team on how to successfully navigate the migration process fromthe current environment to the new environment. This includes migrating tonewer versions of Microsoft Exchange onpremises 2013/2016/2019 Microsoft365 services and Hybrid Exchange Services.
Perform adetailed discovery of the infrastructure and policies as relating to theExchange environment using a combination of the GUI PowerShell. This includesActive Directory (AD) Microsoft Exchange Control Panel Office/Microsoft 365Mobile Device Management (MDM) Network recommendations and Mail Flow throughSMTP Edge/Gateways.
Work onsitewith customer to identify their requirements understand the currentenvironment and perform a gap analysis.
Design anddevelop solutions which includes developing customer deliverable documentationsuch as Architecture Build and Configuration Network Diagram or othersupporting documentation as required.
Ability toarticulate buildout configuration and implementation of the proposed solutionin preparation for the Testing Pilot Early Adopter and servicewidemigrations.
Test andvalidate the proposed solution will work as expected through a rigorous UserAcceptance Test (UAT) plan. Any deficiencies need to be documented accordingadded to an Issues and Risks Tracking Log and worked through accordingly.
Ability toprovide highlevel training/knowledge transfer to the customer at a Tier I/ II Supportand or Operations and Maintenance staff in addition to producing well writtentechnically detailed documents that are tailored specifically to the customersenvironment objectives and requirements.
Perform thePilot/Early Adopter migration and support the participants to ensure a successfultransition. This includes providing postmigration configuration of themigrated accounts developing migration reporting on the success/failure ofthat migration to the customer.
Help supportthe migration effort by developing customized mailbox migration scripts thatautomate and or streamline repetitive tasks such as building Migration BatchesChecking the status of Migration Batches migrating customers mailboxesApplying PostMigration Configuration settings as needed AuditingPostMigration Reporting etc.
Directlyinterface with the client on a regular basis and provide Project Status updatesand Best Practice recommendations based upon their objectives and business ortechnical needs.
Support the Project Managerwith developing project schedules presentations and reporting as includes leading and presenting to the customers business and technical representatives to provide status updates explain project issues and risks provide training or provide recommendations and guidance.
