We are currently seeking a highly motivated and qualified Access Control Officer with a TopSecret security clearance with Polygraph to join our dedicated team.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a diligent and professional Cleared Unarmed Security Officer to join our team in Maryland. The selected candidate will be responsible for providing topnotch security services ensuring the safety and security of assets property personnel and visitors while maintaining the highest levels of confidentiality.
Responsibilities:
- Patrol designated areas in a timely and professional manner.
- Report suspicious activities hazards and any security breaches.
- Monitor access to the facility ensuring only authorized individuals gain entry.
- Provide information and assistance to staff and visitors as needed.
- Maintain logs and write detailed incident reports.
- Respond promptly to alarms and emergencies.
- Cooperate with local law enforcement agencies when required.
- Attend regular training sessions and stay up to date with the latest security protocols.
- Handle security issues with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- TopSecret security clearance with Polygraph.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional relevant security certifications or training is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Security Officer or in a related security role.
- Indepth knowledge of physical security protocols and security technologies.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise security procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with personnel visitors and clients professionally.
- Ability to work independently make decisions under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Flexibility to work various shifts including nights weekends and holidays as needed.
- Physical fitness that requires the ability to perform periodic patrols and standing for extended periods outdoors.
- Strong ethics integrity and commitment to maintaining a secure and confidential environment.
