Responsibilities
- Required to translate technical systems specifications into working tested applications.
- This includes developing detailed programming specifications writing and/or generating code maintaining and compiling datadriven programs.
Skills:
Experience and Skill Set Requirements:
The Resources will act as a Subject Matter Experts on a variety of cloud and AI projects initiatives such as:
- Enabling and designing the Government of Ontarios clouds: Azure AWS IBM Oracle and GCP.
- Designing and configuring advance security for existing and new cloud providers.
- Assist with complex setup of public cloud providers creating reusable patterns.
- Assist in updating and creating provisioning pipelines for the Government Cloud offerings by writing and maintaining a provisioning codebase for infrastructure delivery as well as gathering and reporting data.
Cloud Knowledge and Experience:
- Demonstrated experience in enabling and designing the Government of Ontarios cloud environments Azure AWS IBM Oracle and Google Cloud.
- This experience must be with Cloud environments that are of the same scale as the Government of Ontarios Cloud or BPS environments.
Communications and Customer Service:
- Demonstrated experience in working with customers/key stakeholders and using communication skills to resolve operational issues negotiate or document process related intelligence.
Analysis and ProblemSolving
- Demonstrated experience in troubleshooting and resolving Azure/AWS/IBM/GCP/Oracle Cloud environments incidents and working with vendor partners.
Requirements
Must Haves:
- Proven ability to work with complex SQL queries potentially hundreds or thousands of lines in length
- Proficiency with Power BI and DAX
- Demonstrated experience in Azure Databricks Delta Lake Azure Storage ADF Azure Analysis Service
- Create highly dynamic visualizations and metrics using Power BI
- Design and develop BI dashboards and reports based on business requirements
- Implement maintain and support BI solutions in Microsoft and other BI platforms
- Experience with cloud platform like Azure and working knowledge for cloud migration
- Experience with Microsoft Azure data analytics tools such as Azure Data Factories Azure Databricks Azure Synapse
Nice to Have:
- Prior public sector experience would be an asset
