Job Description
Job Title: Consultant Psychiatrist CAMHS Inpatient (Private) Cheshire
Salary:per annum
Contract Type: Fulltime / Permanent
Job Overview:
We are seeking a Consultant Psychiatrist to join a private inpatient CAMHS unit providing specialist care for young people with severe mental health disorders. The service offers 24/7 psychiatric support for children and adolescents requiring intensive treatment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and diagnostic assessments for young patients.
- Oversee CBT DBT and family therapy interventions.
- Work alongside educational psychologists and social workers to support holistic recovery.
- Lead on safeguarding and child protection cases ensuring compliance with CQC and Ofsted regulations.
Requirements:
- GMC registration with a CCT in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry.
- Strong understanding of neurodevelopmental disorders (ASD ADHD)
