The Opportunity
The primary purpose of the Accounts Receivable Officer is to ensure the effective and efficient management of all accounts receivable transactions in the Dexus systems. You will manage endtoend receipting activities with accuracy and timeliness fostering strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure timely and accurate receipt of income.
Manage customer accounts and relationships including arrears.
Perform bank account reconciliations.
Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
Support other key processes within the Accounts Receivable team.
About You
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of backoffice finance shared services functions with experience in property or financial services environments being advantageous. Proficiency with large ERP systems or Yardi is preferred along with exposure to managing trust accounts.
They will be proactive able to prioritise tasks and possess exceptional customer service and communication skills. Attention to detail accuracy in data entry and a selfmotivated organized and teamoriented approach are essential. Additionally the candidate should have excellent analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to build effective working relationships at all levels and a continuous improvement mindset.
Qualifications:
Tertiary degree in accounting/finance or businessrelated studies.
Minimum of 3 years experience in an accounts receivable or finance role.
Exposure to financial systems and a corporate environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
