Paraprofessional Special Education Classroom Support - HOURLY RANGE:
PARA I $19.64 $27.68
PARA II $20.64 $29.07
PARA SCS $18.72 $26.36
The initial salary placement for this position is from Step 1 to Step 3 depending on the amount of reasonably related experience. - WORK HOURS/DAYS: 3.5 6 hours per day (hours vary depending on site) MF / 195 days per school year
- LOCATION: Various sites around the district
Please provide 23 references. At least one must be a Supervisor. (Current Supervisor preferred)

JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience:
- Ability to carry out oral and written directions read write and speak at a level sufficient to fulfill the duties to be performed. Any combination of education equivalent to the completion of the twelfth 12th) grade. A work history demonstrating dependability reliability and good attendance is required. Twelve 12 units in a jobrelated area of study from an accredited university are desired (ECE units are required for preschool).
Licenses and Other Requirements:
- District preemployment tests Basic Skills Test (spelling grammar proofreading writing and math)
- Current valid California Drivers License and insurable at standard rates by the Districts insurance carrier and maintain such insurability.
- Current District approved First Aid & CPR Certification required.
- Must participate in the Districts physical and drug testing program including preemployment and random and reasonable suspicion testing.
- Must pass the districtpaid physical.
- Preschool Requirements:Preschool employees will be required to provide evidence of and maintain influenza pertussis and measles vaccinations in compliance with federal and/or state legal requirements.

CPR and First Aid courses must be in accordance with the curriculum of the American Heart Association or American Red Cross. Hands on and blended courses will be accepted. Please Note: A BLS certificate alone does not meet the CPR/First Aid requirement. In addition to BLS you must attach a First Aid Certificate. No online certification will be accepted.
