Job Description
Grants Pass School District No. 7 is now accepting applications for the following temporary indistrict positions for summer 2025:
Summer Meal Program
Substitute Food Service Assistant
(multiple positions available)
Hours TBD as needed
June 9th August 8th
Primary Duties: Employees will prepare lunch meals transport and serve meals at park locations recordkeeping and perform cleaning tasks put freight away or other tasks assigned as needed. Hours and days of work are based by site meal participation and not to be considered guaranteed if participation decreases or sites are dropped. Hours may increase if meal participation warrants extra time.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Similar job position requirements as Food Service Assistant.
- Food Handlers Card Required.
- Valid Oregon drivers license required.
- Previous food service experience required.
- Bilingual and biliterate in Spanish preferred.
SALARY: $15.22$21.99 per hour. Dependent on experience/education.

Temporary employees are defined as employees hired for a position filled for a specific period not to exceed the equivalent of ninety 90 working days. No employee benefits are provided except state mandated requirements.
