Job Description
Job Title: Student Counselor
Location: Work From Office (WFO)

We have an urgent opening for a Counselor for Professional Courses with knowledge or experience in Academic Counseling.
Position: Counselor
Location: Kollam
Salary: As per industry standards
Education: BCA/MCA/BE/(IT/CS)
Relevant Experience: Minimum 2 years
Job Description:
- Provide counseling to students on educational issues such as course and program selection class scheduling truancy and career planning.
- Counsel individuals to help them understand and overcome personal social or behavioral problems affecting their educational or vocational situations.
- Maintain accurate and complete student records as required by laws district policies and administrative regulations.
- Collaborate with parents or guardians trainers other counselors and administrators to resolve students behavioral academic and other problems.
- Offer crisis intervention to students.
- Communicate with parents and guardians to discuss their childrens progress and determine their priorities for their children and their resource needs.
- Prepare students for placements.
- Possess strong counseling and convincing skills.
- Efficiently handle queries and provide necessary support.
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Graduate in any stream
- Knowledge of the Degree Program/Ed Tech Program Admission Ecosystem
- Minimum 2 years of experience in counseling/telecounseling
- Good interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with MS Office
