This role plays a vital part in ensuring consistent product quality by accurately measuring ingredients operating batching equipment and maintaining cleanliness and safety standards. Pay Rate: $17$19 per hour
Schedule: 1:30 AM start time and 10:30 AM start time
Benefits: Medical Dental AD&D
Key Responsibilities:
Ingredient Preparation:
- Obtain ingredients from designated storage areas.
- Preweigh and measure ingredients according to batch instructions.
Mixing and Batching:
- Operate machinery to mix or blend ingredients to specified formulations.
- Ensure accurate ingredient ratios and mixing times.
Quality Control:
- Perform routine tests to ensure the resulting mixture meets specified properties and consistencies.
- Record test data and communicate any irregularities to quality control.
Maintenance and Cleanliness:
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Clean equipment and machinery after use.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Basic Math Skills: Ability to accurately weigh and measure ingredients.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to follow instructions and recipes precisely.
- Mechanical Aptitude: Familiarity with machinery and equipment used in mixing and batching processes.
- Teamwork: Ability to work effectively with other members of the production team.
- Cleanliness and Organization: Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift or move materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
