Head of Solution Architecture North America

Job Description

As the Head of Solutions Architecture for North America you will lead a team of highly skilled Solution Architects driving technical excellence and fostering strategic customer partnerships. You will be instrumental in positioning our company as a leader in opensource and Kubernetes solutions ensuring our offerings align with the evolving business and technical needs of our enterprise customers. You will champion a customercentric approach empowering your team to act as trusted technical advisors and driving revenue growth through strategic solution design and implementation.

Responsibilities:

Leadership and Team Management:

  • Build lead and mentor a highperforming team of Solution Architects across North America.

  • Set strategic direction and priorities for the Solutions Architecture team aligning with overall company goals.

  • Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture promoting continuous learning and professional development.

  • Ensure effective resource allocation and management to support sales and customer success initiatives.

Strategic Customer Engagement:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with key enterprise customers and partners acting as a trusted technical advisor at the executive level.

  • Drive strategic engagements ensuring alignment between customer business objectives and our solutions.

  • Oversee the technical aspects of complex sales cycles from qualification to closure ensuring successful solution implementation.

Technical Strategy and Innovation:

  • Drive the development of technical gotomarket strategies working closely with sales marketing and product teams.

  • Provide technical leadership in the development of product demonstrations proofs of concept and technical presentations.

  • Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies particularly in opensource and Kubernetes and provide thought leadership.

  • Act as the voice of the customer to the product and engineering teams.

Sales Enablement and Operational Excellence:

  • Collaborate with regional sales leadership to develop and execute account plans driving solution adoption and customer satisfaction.

  • Ensure consistent CRM hygiene and data accuracy providing insights into pipeline management and technical validation progress.

  • Oversee the RFI/RFP/RFQ process for the technical responses.

  • Drive cross functional collaboration between sales support and engineering.

Competitive Analysis and Market Positioning:

  • Lead competitive analysis efforts identifying key differentiators and developing strategies to position our solutions effectively.

  • Contribute to the development of marketing materials including white papers presentations and technical blogs.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in technical leadership with a proven track record of building and managing highperforming Solutions Architecture teams.

  • Deep expertise in opensource technologies Kubernetes and cloud computing.

  • Strong understanding of enterprise software solutions and the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences including Clevel executives.

  • Proven ability to develop and execute technical sales strategies driving revenue growth and customer satisfaction.

  • Exceptional communication presentation and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong problemsolving and analytical abilities.

  • Experience with CRM tools (e.g. Salesforce Clari).

  • Experience with building and maintaining relationships with large enterprise customers.

  • Experience with designing and delivering complex enterprise solutions.

For US Only US Pay Transparency Disclaimer
If this role is filled in the United States of America the starting base salary is expected to be between $193000 and $353000. In addition to this base salary we offer a commission plan and an attractive benefits package. US benefits include a comprehensive medical plan life and disability insurance 401k Employee Assistance Programme and generous paid time off and leave policies.

Actual compensation will be determined by factors such as experience skills geographical location internal equity and budget. Please note that this salary information is applicable to the US only.
