Job Description
Role:Security Officer (Unarmed)
Location:Columbia MO
Shift: Nightshift
Schedule: Mon Tues Sat Sun (FullTime)
Pay:$17.00/HR
Requirements:
21 YEARS
Drivers License (NO PERMITS had license for 3 years)
Clean MVR 3 years no accidents)
Prior Security Experience (Preferably Patrols)
Reliable transportation
Join our team as a Security Officer for night shifts in Columbia MO.This is a fulltime driving post with scheduled shifts on Monday Tuesday Saturday and Sunday. Responsibilities include patrolling both interior and exterior areas monitoring surveillance systems preventing unauthorized access and documenting incidents accurately. Youll work closely with your team to manage safety risks and uphold site protocols. Night shift availability on the listed days and a valid drivers license are required.
Job Functions
- Security Presence & Defense: Serve as the first line of defense for clients and sites
- Hazard Awareness: Identify and address safety concerns
- Risk Assessment: Conduct ongoing risk evaluations
- Access Control: Manage access to restricted areas and information
- Guidance: Direct and assist patrons visitors and staff.
- Customer Service: Deliver positive interactions with a pleasant and helpful demeanor
- Collaboration: Work with local law enforcement and other security personnel to maintain highest safety standards
- Incident Response:Respond to client security concerns and reports of incidents as they come through the dispatch line
- Incident Documentation: Record and report all security and safety incidents and concerns
Requirements
- Employment Eligibility: Provide 2 forms of ID and eligibility/authorization to work in the US
- Education: High School diploma or GED
- Attitude: Maintain a calm professional and customer serviceoriented demeanor
- Language Skills: Fluent in English speaking reading/writing. Spanish is a bonus
- Screening: Ability to pass a urinalysis (site dependent) and criminal background check
- Transportation: Reliable transportation to and from work
- Tech Literacy: Basic technology skills and ownership of a working smartphone and accessible email account
- Physical Ability: Can stand sit walk jog crouch bend over and carry 50lbs in a variety of weather conditions and work environments
$16.50 $17 an hour
