Centurion is proud to be the provider ofcomprehensive services to the Maryland Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services. We are currently seeking a Fulltime Licensed Mental Health Director to join our StatewideSubstance Use Disorder (SUD) team based in Columbia Maryland.
The Mental Health Director SUD is a key member of the Mental Health Leadership Team and is responsible for coordinating substance use services by providing administrative support supervision and consultation. This person provides clinical oversight and supervision ensures timely assessments are completed and intervention for intoxication and withdrawal management is performed per required standards. This person is responsible for the development implementation and evaluation of substance use services including intake/ admission process assessments individual followup treatment planning psychoeducational treatment group therapy crisis intervention and services for patients. They will also provide staff training counseling and performance evaluations.
Qualifications
- Masters level degree in Social Work Counseling or related field from an accredited educational institution required
- Active professional unrestricted license as an LCPCS
- Must be a board approved supervisor
- Three to five years experience in a progressive supervisory or management position
- Three to five years mental health experience in a correctional or mental health environment preferred
- Must be appropriately and actively certified in CardioPulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/ BLS
- Ability to obtain a security clearance to include drug screen and criminal background check
