Salary Competitive dependent on experience
Hours Monday to Friday 37.5 hours per week with hybrid working
Holiday 23 days annual leave (excluding bank holidays) increasing by one day per each year of service (up to a maximum of 5 days)
About the Accountant role

We currently have an exciting opening for an Accountant in our Outsourcing division.

Our Outsourcing division is a key part of that growth and evolution. It consists of a compact team in Northern Ireland working with a much larger team in India; and in doing so this role provides boundless opportunity and variety. You will be technically strong and an excellent communicator relishing the fast pace this role involves.
This role has much crossover with the role of a general practice accountant but is a unique role and offers unrivalled opportunities for progression. It will suit an ambitious technically skilled allrounder with strong practice experience who has excellent communication skills and a desire to lead.
This is a hybrid role and there will also be the likelihood of occasional international travel.
Key responsibilities of an Accountant will include:
managing supporting and training an international team in providing accounting support to clients within the group
preparing and finalising year end accounts and corporation tax returns for limited companies partnerships soletraders and LLPs
reviewing bookkeeping management accounts and VAT returns
delivering excellent client service
involvement with workflow implementation and management
assisting with driving technological solutions in accounting throughout the office
About you
We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:
qualified accountant (CAI/ACCA/ICAEW)
minimum of 3 years relevant experience working within an accountancy practice
excellent written and verbal communication skills
strong experience with Microsoft Office particularly Excel Word and Outlook
great attention to detail along with strong organisational skills
proactive selfstarter with a positive attitude
previous experience of CCH Quickbooks Xero and Sage would be advantageous
knowledge of payroll advantageous
leadership qualities and experience
