Position Description:
CGI is looking for a .NET Programmer Analyst to join our team. Our project will be improving and maintaining our applications and APIs developing web applications setting and upgrading our continuous delivery infrastructure and assisting internal customers in their daily challenges. Ideally you would see yourself evolving well in this environment.

The candidate contributes to proposing solutions with a view to optimizing processes and streamlining applications. Through his understanding of needs and his expertise the developer contributes to evaluating the impact of the chosen solution on business processes and ensures the adequacy of the solution to current needs. He supports business analysts and business partners in carrying out the various tests.
As part of a global financial institution providing services across the globe we also cooperate closely on a daily basis with our HeadOffice and global affiliates to ensure compliance with the regulations in the countries where we operate and to address crossborder regulatory matters.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
Participate in all development phases: analysis design implementation testing documentation and deployment
Produce quality code according to the best practices and design patterns in place.
Write technical documentation and support the development team for activities related to the solutions.
Ensure quality in the delivery and documentation of development activities including rigorous testing.
Collaborate and share ideas with communities of practice while ensuring alignment with the organizations strategy.
Deploy and provision fullfledged development environments using the organizations deployment runbooks.
Participate in the investigation of any service or component issue in the various environments and resolve the issue with the help of troubleshooting guides in a responsive and timely fashion.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Academic Background
Hold a bachelors or masters degree in computer science software engineering statistics or mathematics and/or the equivalent combination of education and experience in a technical role.
Seniority: Senior 10 years
Experience
Strong experience in unit testing automation deployment and release practices and solution operationalization is required.
Experience in an agile delivery team preferably with Scrum.
Competencies
Advanced C# and/or Angular Typescript programming skills are required.
Knowledge of solution design best practices is a strong asset.
Knowledge of cloud frameworks and the complete stack of Microsoft Azure (Azure Functions Azure SQL Service Bus Event Hub Event Grid App Insights Key Vault) Azure DevOps
Knowledge of Snowflakes is an asset
Knowledge of public markets private markets investment operations investment accounting and investment analytics is an asset.
