You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe University of Southern Maines Economics Program is seeking a parttime faculty member to teach US Economic Policy (ECO 312 in a facetoface environment for the Fall 2025 semester beginning September 1 2025.
US Economic Policy (ECO 312 This course examines policy issues in contemporary US capitalism through a historical lens. Topics discussed include that during the past four decades we have seen economic and social progress for the majority stall as income inequality has soared due to factors such as deindustrialization financialization and the inability of workers to unionize.
We are seeking a studentfocused instructor who will be responsible for the full delivery and grading of the course. Responsibilities include developing the course teaching assessing student performance and meeting with students as needed.
Parttime faculty members are paid on a credit hour basis based on prior teaching experience. Eligible parttime faculty members may elect certain benefitsprovided by the University of Maine System. In addition The Center for Academic Innovationprovides learning design consulting and faculty development opportunities to help faculty to create engaging programs courses and lesson plans grounded in evidencebased best practices for every modality.
