We are thrilled to support a leading Yorkshire law firm in their search for an experienced Private Client Partner to join their highly regarded York office. This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned solicitor looking to take on a leadership role within a firm that values client service professional growth and innovation in the legal industry.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Private Client Partner you will have the autonomy to shape the role with the opportunity to work on a diverse range of private client matters including:

• Estate Planning: Provide strategic advice to clients on estate planning inheritance tax and succession planning.
• Drafting Wills: Prepare and review wills tailored to the individual needs of clients ensuring their wishes are clearly reflected.
• Administration of Trusts: Oversee the administration of trusts ensuring compliance with legal obligations and safeguarding clients interests.
• NonContentious Probate and Administration: Handle probate matters and manage the smooth administration of estates.
• Lasting and Enduring Powers of Attorney: Advise clients on setting up powers of attorney ensuring their legal and financial affairs are effectively managed.
• Inheritance Act Claims: Handle inheritance disputes ensuring fair outcomes for clients while managing the complexities of litigation.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate will:

• Have extensive experience in Private Client Law with a proven track record in estate planning probate and trust administration.
• Be a natural leader able to take ownership of the private client team mentor junior solicitors and contribute to the strategic direction of the department.
• Have excellent client relationship skills with the ability to advise highnetworth individuals and maintain longterm client relationships.
• Demonstrate technical expertise across all areas of private client law and stay up to date with relevant legislation and industry developments.
• Be confident in business development and proactive in expanding the firms client base through networking and marketing initiatives.
• Have a strong understanding of Inheritance Act Claims able to handle sensitive family disputes with professionalism and empathy.
