What youll be doing

In this role youll play a central part in shaping the direction of critical systemstranslating complex designs into scalable realworld solutions. Youll partner closely with enterprise architects and stakeholders in a fastmoving Agile environment navigating ambiguity with confidence and clarity. From building core features to mentoring engineers and influencing architecture youll be directly involved in the systems that matter most.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Design and develop scalable applications usingJavaSpring Boot and cloudnative technologies.
• Implement complex architecture in collaboration withenterprise architects contributing actively to development efforts.
• Work withstakeholders in Agile environmentsto align technical solutions with business priorities.
• Bring structure toambiguous requirementsthrough sound engineering judgment and initiative.
• Own critical components driving performance reliability and longterm maintainability.
• Mentor junior engineersand elevate team standards through code reviews and technical leadership.
• Uphold best practices in testing CI/CD and cloud infrastructure ensuring quality and scalability.

What you bring

• 10 years of professional software development experience.
• Expertise inJavaSpring Boot and distributed systems.
• Proven experience deliveringcloudnativeapplications onAWSor other major cloud platforms.
• Familiarity withDomainDriven Design (DDD)andeventdriven architecturein realworld systems.
• Solid background inmicroservicesandREST APIs.
• Proficiency withCI/CD pipelines(e.g. Jenkins GitHub Actions)version control and DevOps tooling.
• Experience withrelational and NoSQL databasessuch asPostgreSQLMySQL orDocumentDB.
• Handson knowledge ofKubernetes containerization and deployment automation.
• Familiarity withmonitoring and observability toolslikePrometheusGrafanaDatadog orCloudWatch.
• Full ownership mindsetwriting testing and validating your own code to ensure quality and reliability.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills with experience working across architecture engineering and product teams.

Added bonus if you have

• Experience working inFinTechor other highly regulated enterprisescale environments.
• Exposure toMachine Learning (ML)workflows or integrating ML models into production systems.
• Familiarity withscalable messaging platformssuch asKafkaor other streaming technologies.
