SECURITY ANALYST

As a Security Analyst you will have the opportunity to support the Global Security teams efforts in audit analysis and investigation across multiple programs and various projects though all levels of the organization.

This position will be 100 OnSite (not Remote nor Hybrid) based in the Rocket Lab office in Long Beach California with occasional domestic travel <10.

WHAT YOULL GET TO DO

  • You will work closely with the security department to apply your knowledge and grow your skills both technically and professionally.
  • Work with a fastpaced group of professionals to apply industry concepts to solve real challenges.
  • Audit corporate programs pertaining to asset protection supply chain integrity and transportation procedures to contrast with best practices identify risk and recommend mitigation.
  • Investigate sensitive allegations of fraud waste and abuse and provide timely and accurate factbased reporting.
  • Analyze external matters such as uniform crime reporting business reputational management and emerging threats and recommend appropriate countermeasures.
  • Audit U.S. government and sensitive commercial programs and assist with compliance efforts.
  • Attend frequent 1:1s with mentors and supervisors to facilitate success and learning while providing progress updates.

YOULL BRING THESE QUALIFICATIONS

  • Success in this position will be measured by the knowledge and experience you bring to the role your ability to lead development projects without supervision and your ability to successfully collaborate across teams to deliver results.
  • Minimum of three years work experience in an audit analyst or in an investigator role or one year work experience with an advanced degree.
  • A bachelors degree in criminal justice supply chain management business management audit or similar with a GPA of 3.0 or above
  • This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance which is issued by the US government. U.S citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance. The applicant must be able to maintain clearance eligibility.
  • A valid drivers license.

THESE QUALIFICATIONS WOULD BE NICE TO HAVE

  • Work experience in the military space/aerospace or defense industry.
  • U.S. government TS/SCI eligible or transferrable

Vision Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision distance vision peripheral vision depth perception and the ability to focus while reading a computer monitor interpreting hazardous material warnings access control signage and safety statements on industrial equipment.

Environmental Occasional exposure to dust fumes and moderate levels of noise. Must be able to properly wear various personal protective equipment (PPE) in areas where dust chemicals or industrial noise or other hazards are present.

Mobility Intermittently required to sit and stand for up to two 2 hours consecutively full use of hands and fingers to operate computer keyboard and industrial controls. Must be able to lift/carry items weighing up to 35lbs unassisted walk across uneven surfaces climb ladders or stairs.

Level and base salary will be determined on a casebycase basis and may vary based on the following considerations: jobrelated knowledge and skills education and experience.
