Job Description: Bilingual Onboarding Coordinator (Summer Internship) Located in San Antonio The Pineapple School is a child development center and preschool offering a unique Spanish language and cultural immersion program for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years. We are excited to invite a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Bilingual Onboarding Coordinator this summer! This summer internship is an excellent opportunity to gain handson experience in human resources and onboarding while making a positive impact in a fastpaced supportive and culturally rich environment. Youll work closely with our Operations Manager and HR team learning about HR procedures recruitment benefits and the importance of creating a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for new hires. Responsibilities: - Support The Pineapple School by proactively and cooperatively aiding the HR department and fellow team members to ensure effective and compliant HR procedures.
- Assist and provide clerical and administrative support for HR initiatives to ensure efficient operation of recruitment benefits and training processes.
- Manage communication with candidates and new hires.
- Ensure timely professional communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process and support new hires during onboarding and their first 90 days of employment.
- Create and maintain accurate records for new hires.
- Audit employee files and mandatory documents to ensure completion and accuracy.
- Create and deliver employee IDs in a timely fashion.
- Keep current with all policies and procedures from the Staff Member Handbook all hiring and onboarding activities comply with federal and state regulations.
- Maintain open and effective communication with staff members while maintaining confidentiality (regarding salaries job performance and assignments and personal matters).
- Help coordinate events such as job fairs as needed

Qualifications: - Fluency in Spanish and English both verbal and written.
- Educational Background: A Bachelors degree (or currently pursuing) in Human Resources Education Psychology or a related field within the academic sector.
- Experience in administrative or HR support roles preferably in a childcare or educational setting.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Excellent communication skills both interpersonal and written with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Detailoriented with a focus on accuracy in recordkeeping and document management.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word Excel Outlook) and familiarity with HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) software.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
- Demonstrated commitment to professionalism and adherence to organizational core values.
