Job Description

Main Duties & Responsibilities

Primary Job Role

Assists in machine yard/shop activities.

Loads and unloads materials parts or products onto or from pallets skids conveyors or trucks.

Delivers parts or stock to designated work areas.

Operates heavy equipment to and from cleaning area. Utilizes high pressure steamcleaning equipment to clean equipment.

Adds coolant to reservoirs of machines and lubricates machine parts.

Separates metal shavings chips and s materials from trash and places them in bins for resale.

Ensures work areas are clean and safe.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

Formal Education:Some High School
Experience:6 months or less

Required / Credentials

Able to easily and effectively comprehend written material and communicate orally and in writing with employees and customers.

9th grade level education required.

Updating of Knowledge

Job requirements do not significantly change over time.
