SUMMARY:
The migrant recruiter is responsible for identifying recruiting and assisting migrant families that come to the Donna Independent School District.
QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION:
High school diploma or GED
Associates Degree or College Hours preferred.
CERTIFICATES LICENSES REGISTRATIONS:
Valid Texas drivers license

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read analyze and interpret documents such as safety rules operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of students staff parents and the general public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to add subtract multiply and divide in all nits of measure using whole numbers common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate ratio and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Occasional absences are understood but regular attendance is required.
While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to sit stand walk talk and hear. The employee is occasionally required to stoop climb kneel crouch or crawl. Light to moderate lifting and carrying is required. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision distance vision and the ability to adjust focus.
The employee must maintain emotional control under stress.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The noise level in the work environment will vary from quiet to moderate to loud depending upon the activity being conducted at the different sites visited. The employee works indoors and outdoors and will be exposed to extreme temperatures and inclement weather.
