Financial Auditor
Location: Belgium
Industry: Leading Financial Services Company
Language Requirement: Dutch Speaker Fluent in English
Employment Type: FullTime (No Freelancers)
We are looking for a skilled and detailoriented Financial Auditor to join one of Belgiums leading financial services companies. If you have a passion for auditing and are fluent in Dutch this is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and highperforming team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct Financial Audits: Ensure financial statements are accurate and compliant with all relevant regulations and standards.
- Review Financial Records: Examine financial records reports and statements for discrepancies errors or potential fraud.
- Evaluate Internal Controls: Assess the effectiveness of internal controls and provide recommendations for improvements.
- Audit Documentation: Prepare detailed reports outlining audit findings for senior management and stakeholders.
- CrossDepartment Collaboration: Work closely with various teams to gather necessary information and offer valuable insights based on audit findings.
- Stay Informed: Keep up to date with the latest developments in auditing standards financial regulations and best practices within the industry
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Experience: 35 years of experience in financial auditing preferably within the financial services sector.
- Educational Background: A degree in Accounting Finance or a related field. Professional certifications like CPA ACCA are highly preferred.
- Language Skills: Fluency in Dutch is essential. Proficiency in English is also required.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with auditing software and financial analysis tools.
- Skills: Exceptional attention to detail strong analytical abilities and excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
