We are seeking a dedicated Clerk: Labour Relations to provide secretarial and administrative support to the Labour Relations Department. The role involves preparing meeting materials managing CCMA case documentation monitoring compliance with disciplinary procedures recording and transcribing meeting minutes maintaining organized filing systems compiling statistical data on various cases assisting in report consolidation handling communications and managing trade union membership records.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and distribute meeting packages to stakeholders.
Compile bundles for CCMA cases as required.
Assist in monitoring that disciplinary cases grievances and appeals are conducted within established timeframes adhering to Disciplinary and Grievance Standard Operating Procedures.
Attend record and transcribe minutes of meetings and disciplinary hearings.
Maintain and update filing systems for all relevant documents.
Capture and compile statistical data on disciplinary actions grievances appeals CCMA Labour Court and High Court cases.
Assist in consolidating monthly and quarterly labour relations reports.
Direct calls respond to inquiries and sort correspondence.
Capture trade union membership applications and cancellations.
Compile reconciliation of trade union membership.
Minimum Requirements:
Diploma in Office Administration or Secretarial Studies.
At least 1 year of relevant experience in a similar role.
Demonstrated honesty and trustworthiness.
Proficient knowledge of office administration planning and organizational skills.
Familiarity with relevant legislation policies regulations and procedures related to labour relations.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong recordkeeping and time management abilities.
Salary: R202233.00 per annum plus service benefits
