Job Description

The Opportunity

Were seeking a driven Account Executive to join our team and transform our sales approach from reactive to proactive. In this role youll take ownership of the full sales cycle for our engineered solutions from prospect identification through proposal development and deal closure.


The ideal candidate will combine commercial acumen with technical understanding enabling you to effectively communicate complex engineering solutions while building strong client relationships. Youll work closely with our experienced technical team to ensure that customer requirements are translated into winning proposals.


Requirements

  • Business Development: Proactively identify and pursue new project opportunities through outbound activities and relationship building
  • Sales Pipeline Management: Create and maintain a healthy pipeline of opportunities providing reliable forecasts and complete transparency on status
  • Client Engagement: Engage with prospective and existing clients to understand their technical requirements and business objectives
  • Technical Solution Development: Collaborate with our engineering team to develop appropriate technical solutions that address client needs
  • Proposal Management: Lead the development of comprehensive technical and commercial proposals coordinating input from relevant technical specialists
  • Pricing and Negotiations: Develop pricing strategies and lead commercial negotiations with clients
  • CRM Management: Maintain accurate and uptodate records of all client interactions and sales opportunities
  • Technical Communication: Translate complex engineering concepts into clear value propositions that resonate with clients
  • Market Intelligence: Monitor industry trends and competitor activities and share insights with the wider team

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering (Mechanical Electrical Chemical or related field) preferred
  • 2 years of experience in technical sales with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets
  • Experience selling engineered solutions or projectbased services
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles relevant to our sectors
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships at multiple levels
  • Demonstrated ability to understand technical requirements and translate them into appropriate solutions
  • Experience with CRM systems and proposal development
  • Meticulous attention to detail and followthrough
  • Selfmotivated with the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with technical teams
