Overview:
We are looking for a System Integration Engineer with a strong focus on Business Analysis to join our team. This role requires understanding business needs analyzing integration requirements and ensuring seamless system interoperability. The ideal candidate will work closely with BA team stakeholders development teams and thirdparty vendors to define document and implement integrations that align with business goals.
Responsibilities:
Gather analyze and document integration requirements from business and technical stakeholders.
Act as a liaison between technical teams business units and thirdparty vendors.
Design and oversee system integration solutions ensuring compatibility and performance.
Work with APIs message queues and middleware to develop and test integration solutions.
Maintain technical documentation (data flow diagrams integration specs API documentation).
Identify potential integration challenges and propose solutions to optimize system connectivity.
Support testing validation and troubleshooting of integration issues.
Ensure data integrity security and compliance across integrated systems.
Collaborate with the BA Technical & product teams to align integration strategies with overall system architecture.
Work with various APIs web services and filebased integrations to facilitate data exchange between systems.
Work directly with business stakeholders to understand data needs and integration requirements.
Translate business needs into technical solutions ensuring clear communication between technical and nontechnical teams.
Assess available data sources and recommend integration strategies including realtime API connections or alternative solutions.
Effectively communicate technical capabilities limitations and recommendations to business users.
Document detailed functional and technical requirements for the technical and BA teams team ensuring alignment with best practices.
Maintain industrystandard documentation including data flow diagrams integration specifications process workflows and API usage guidelines.
Requirements
Bachelor s degree in computer science related engineering or equivalent work experience.
1 years of experience in system integrations or related fields.
Solid understanding of business process modeling (BPMN) and workflow automation.
Ability to analyze and document system dependencies and data flows.
Experience working with JSON XML RESTful APIs and authentication protocols (OAuth JWT etc..
Knowledge of security best practices in system integrations.
Familiarity with agile development practices and working in crossfunctional teams.
Excellent communication skills to translate business needs into technical solutions.
Strong documentation skills maintaining industrystandard technical and functional requirements.
Experience with log monitoring.
Familiarity with SQL and databases.
Preferred Skills:
Experience working with cloudbased data solutions (Azure GCP or AWS).
Knowledge of SQL ETL processes and data modeling best practices.
Background in data governance security best practices and compliance regulations.
Familiarity with DevOps principles CI/CD pipelines.
