Job Description
Requirements
Accurate and timely performance of all duties and responsibilities. Inspect land use management plans and projects for conformance to Warm Springs Land Code and Zoning. Provide timely required reports of land use actions to all concerned parties. Make onsite inspections of violations or noncompliance and record findings for presentation to Tribal Court. Post conditional use applications and public notifications timely and accurately. Associates Degree in related field plus 4 years experience. Land use planning or land use law preferred. Carto graphic skills required. Good communication skills written and oral. Knowledge of Indian law and familiar with Warm Springs Reservation and organic and historical documents. Knowledge of computers software and applications. Working knowledge of land use planning and management and Realty functions. Must submit and pass a criminal background check with Federal Tribal and State Law Enforcement. Must also pass a preemployment alcohol and drug screening.
