Job Description
This is a remote position.
The Accountant role focuses primarily on fixed assets inter company transactions and regulatory tax filings. This position is integral to the monthend close process ensuring accurate and timely preparation of monthly journal entries. The role encompasses responsibilities in General Ledger Accounts Payable Accounts Receivable and Fixed Assets. - Create and post complex journal entries
- Perform AR reconciliation and resolve uncleared income issues
- Match previous years tax returns to balance sheets
- Review and validate bookkeepers work
- Create adjusting journal entries
- Ensure accuracy of financial statements
Requirements
- Advanced knowledge of accounting principles
- Extensive experience with QuickBooks Online
- Expertise in journal entries and reconciliation
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
- Experience with tax return reconciliation
- Proven track record with USbased accounting
