We are looking for a talented and dedicated Electrical Engineer to join our Production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing developing and maintaining electrical systems and components including PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers) and HMI (HumanMachine Interface) systems. This role focuses on ensuring safety efficiency and compliance with industry standards while driving innovation in electrical systems and controls.
Key Responsibilities
1. Design & Development
- Create electrical systems schematics and layouts using tools like AutoCAD and SolidWorks Electrical.
- Develop and program PLC and HMI systems for production automation.
- Analyze project requirements to develop detailed technical specifications.
2. Testing & Maintenance
- Conduct tests and evaluations on electrical systems including PLC and HMI controls.
- Diagnose and resolve issues in electrical systems and control panels to ensure optimal performance.
3. Project Management
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to deliver engineering projects on time and within budget.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation including technical reports cost estimates and timelines.
4. Compliance & Safety
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and codes such as NEC and IEC.
- Perform risk assessments and integrate safety measures into designs focusing on automation systems.
5. Innovation & Optimization
- Assess existing systems including automation controls and recommend upgrades or new technologies to improve efficiency.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies in PLC HMI and electrical systems incorporating them into projects as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience: 3 5 years of experience in electrical system design including PLC and HMI programming.
- Skills:
- Expertise in electrical design software (e.g. AutoCAD SolidWorks).
- Proficiency in PLC and HMI programming and troubleshooting.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities.
- Thorough understanding of electrical standards codes and best practices.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
