- Role Overview:
We are looking for a proactive and versatile General Assistant to join our team at our beautiful wedding venue. This is a varied role that plays a vital part in ensuring a seamless and memorable experience for all our guests.
Youll be involved in a wide range of tasks including cleaning and preparing event spaces and onsite accommodation to a high standard supporting with event setup and packdown and providing warm professional customer service throughout the guest journey. From behindthescenes support to frontofhouse interactions this is a handson role that requires flexibility attention to detail and a cando attitude.
List of Responsibilities:
Carry out thorough preevent duringevent and postevent cleaning to ensure the venue is always presented at its best.
- Support with setting up and breaking down event spaces including moving furniture and checking equipment.
- Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of guest accommodation ensuring all rooms and shared spaces are spotless and welcoming.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by assisting guests with queries offering a warm and professional presence and ensuring their comfort throughout their stay or event.
- Liaise closely with the wider team to ensure seamless operations and quickly respond to any issues that arise during events or guest stays.
- Uphold health and safety standards and assist with routine maintenance and compliance checks as required.
- To Ensure the security of the building and guests
- To actively detect guests needs and resolve them
- To ensure smooth checkins and checkouts and maintain updated records of bookings and payments in our Property Management System
- To deal with special requests from guests
- To report any issue detected
- To ensure supplies are available as necessary
- To ensure all rooms are clean tidy and fully furnished to accommodate guests need.
- To provide basic housekeeping duties including replacing linens changing and arranging the towels emptying trash restocking toilet supplies vacuuming dusting and rearranging the room after guests check out.
- To clean rooms and public areas including vacuuming dusting picking up larger objects off the floor cleaning glass and windows spot cleaning partition doors and walls sweeping and mopping tie floors and cleaning toilets.
- To ensure gardens look fully tidy and clean at all times. To ensure paved areas/slabs to be weedfree at all times.
- To look at all of the linens and treat any stains that is found.
- To take out the clothes and linens after washing and dry and iron them following the manufacturers recommendations.
- To ensure all cleaning supplies are in stock and indicate any shortages to the general manager.
- To inspect laundry equipment visually and report any maintenance issues to the building management.
