Job Description
VHIR offers a vacant for an Assistant Laboratory Technician position within the Rheumatology Research Group IMIDBiobank.
Education and qualifications:
Required:
- CFGS (HigherLevel Training Cycle) at least secondyear in progress
- Fluency in Catalan Spanish and English (written and spoken)
Experience and knowledge:
Required:
- Experience in biobanking
- Experience with automated laboratory equipment
- Experience in Quality Management Systems
- Good computer skills (Microsoft Excel Access)
- Highly organized and flexible
- Detailoriented and committed to highquality lab work
- Strong teamwork skills
Main responsibilities and duties:
- Prepare and ship materials for biological sample collection
- Manage the reception of biological samples
- Assist in the processing and storage of biological samples and associated data
- Assist in the maintenance of laboratory equipment
- Assist in the of consumables and reagents stock control
- Experimental support to laboratory technicians
Labour conditions:
- Parttime position: 15h/week.
- Starting date: immediate
- Gross annual salary: 6.100 6.230 / (Remuneration will depend on experience and skills. Salary ranges are consistent with our Collective Agreement pay scale)
- Contract: Technical and scientific activities contract linked to the project activities.
