What we offer you
As a Junior Technical Support Engineer you will handle thirdline technical inquiries through instant messaging emails and calls providing highquality solutions with professionalism. After an initial period of training and shadowing more experienced colleagues we are sure you will feel comfortable in solving technical issues translating customer needs into actionable solutions and proactively identifying ways to enhance the Nexus product experience. By collaborating closely with engineering and sales teams youll ensure customer needs are met while providing valuable insights for product development.
What youll do at Nexus
- Technical Support: Deliver thirdline support to customers and partners across multiple channels including instant messaging emails and phone calls. Handle highly complex technical solutions where no two issues are alike requiring indepth problemsolving and tailored solution support.
- Problem Ownership & Resolution: Take responsibility for support tickets (with team support) ensuring timely responses and delivering highquality professional solutions.
- Customer Needs & Technical Solutions: Translate customer requirements into technical solutions advising customers and partners on product use and applications as your knowledge grows.
- Proactive Problem Solving: Enhance customer experience by identifying potential improvements to Nexus products and providing feedback to the organization.
- Understanding Product Application: Develop a strong understanding of how Nexus products are used in reallife scenarios including both their advantages and limitations.
- Collaboration with CrossFunctional Teams: Work closely with engineering and sales teams to support complex customer queries and ensure proper alignment between customer needs and product capabilities.
About you
- You are customerfocused and solutionsoriented.
- Techsavvy and easy understanding of technical systems.
- Programming experience with a demonstrated ability to interpret comprehend and modify simple code; preferably with prior experience in Java.
- Demonstrates initiative and proactivity; Highly organized and detailoriented.
- Maintain a positive openminded and flexible attitude.
Qualifications
- IT Computer Science or other technical background or education.
- Ideally experience in a customer facing function or a technical role.
- Experience with networks and databases (SQL MSSQL Oracle AD SAML LDAP Container technology Linux).
- Programing skills ideally with knowledge of Java.
- Fluent in English and very good in German.
- Some knowledge or experience with PKI and IT Security is a plus but not requiredwell be glad to show you how cool these concepts are!
