Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Designing and maintaining seismic monitoring system.
- Installation of monitoring instrument as per project schedule.
- Provide onthejob training on seismic rating to underground personnel.
- Ensuring all relevant procedures are maintained and updated.
- Commissioning of the monitoring instruments.
- Processing of seismic data producing high quality seismic activity plans across sections for reporting and presentations.
- Utilizing database information and software tools to manipulate and analyse data related to seismic activity.
Requirements:
- Grade 12
- National Diploma in Mining Engineering/Geology
- Strata Control Certificate
- 5 years experience in seismic data processing
- 4 years seismic installation and instrumentation experience
