COMPUTER VISION ENGINEER
PFF is the global leader in the collection analysis and application of sports data. With clients spanning the majority of the professional and college football landscapes along with major media entities and sports fans worldwide PFF is at the forefront of revolutionizing how football is played coached and consumed. Our datadriven insights empower teams broadcasters and fans with cuttingedge analytics that drive smarter decisions on and off the field.
Toward these aims our team is looking for a Computer Vision Engineer to aid the development of AIdriven sports analytics. In this role you will build and optimize player tracking and videobased performance models. This is a highimpact position that combines deep learning computer vision and software engineering to push the boundaries of sports data technology.
Role Requirements
- Develop and optimize deep learning models for player tracking event detection and biomechanical analysis using game footage.
- Integrate and support models in PFFs endtoend data pipeline for ingesting processing and analyzing sports video data to benefit PFFs sports analytics products.
- Research and implement cuttingedge computer vision techniques.
- Collaborate with data scientists engineers and product team members to improve accuracy speed and scalability of AI models.
- Work with cloudbased infrastructures (AWS) to deploy scalable and cost efficient solutions in production.
Skills & Experience
- 1 years of experience researching and developing Computer Vision solutions specific for realworld sports use cases football in particular is required.
- Expert grasp of software architecture development practices/tools especially in regards to largescale datasets is required.
- Experience designing building testing deploying and maintaining predictive AI/ML models at scale and in production environments is required.
- Proven experience with videobased object detection and tracking.
- Strong programming skills in Python and cloud computing (AWS) for model training and deployment are required.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills are required.
