Job Description

HR and Talent Advisor

  • Temporary Full Time until 7 May 2026 (Flexible)
  • Band 6 $94850.87 super RDO

As a key member of our Talent team you will have the opportunity to collaborate with a range of business units providing expert guidance and support to ensure our recruitment practices align with our organisational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Partner with hiring managers to ensure a seamless and efficient recruitment process from job creation to onboarding.
Design and deliver targeted training sessions that educate Hiring Managers to align and succeed using our new recruitment process.
Analyse workforce data and metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement in talent management practices.
Serve as a trusted advisor to managers and employees providing guidance on HR policies procedures and best practices.
Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture that promotes diversity equity and belonging through thoughtful recruitment practices.

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelors degree in Human Resources or a related field.
Proven experience in a HR and Talent Management role preferably within a local government public sector or a complex organisation.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
