Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced FullTime Onsite School Registered Dietitian to join our FLIK Dining Services Team at the IMG Academy in Bradenton FL.
IMG Academy is a prestigious boarding school with over 1500 students in grades 712 that prepares students for collegiate athletics and beyond. This role will collaborate with the general manager executive chef and marketing to promote and support FLIKs goals objectives strategies and policies related to nutrition and wellness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with the dining management team and culinary associates to understand the dietary needs of all students coaches and staff.
- Assists the food service management team with menu development to ensure dietary needs and nutrition performance goals can be achieved.
- Provides nutrition related training including food allergens and FLIK wellness standards to all FLIK associates
- Manage nutrient analysis in our menu software and Team Works Nutrition.
- Oversee allergy management including menu labeling and creating custom meals as needed.
- Provide group nutrition education sessions to educate studentathletes on meal planning hydration and fueling strategies.
- Act as a liaison with the IMG performance nutrition team to ensure foodservice strategies are inline with education and fueling strategies for IMG.
- Stay updated on the latest sports nutrition research and integrate evidencebased practices into programs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Nutrition and/or Dietetics or a related field; Masters degree preferred.
- Credentialed as a Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)required
- Minimum of 23 years of experience as a Registered Dietitian preferably in a school campus dining and/or food service environment
- Knowledge of sports nutrition principles performance optimization and recovery strategies.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to successfully communicate with students parents and staff.
- A proactive teamoriented mindset with the ability to balance multiple priorities.
