Our Information Technology (IT) team leads all aspects of IT systems and processes across the enterprise including data services security compliance applications automation and enduser services. Through innovative and streamlined technology solutions this dynamic team enables company growth protects data and serves as a critical partner to all departments of PowerSchool.
Role Overview
The Senior System Administrator NetSuite will support the ongoing maintenance and customization of PowerSchools instance of NetSuite to ensure the continued delivery of innovative highquality solutions that enable PowerSchool to accomplish its company and financial business objectives. This role will work crossfunctionally with a variety of PowerSchool departments to maximize the value NetSuite provides to PowerSchool. This includes managing the daytoday incoming requests from business users understanding requirements and determining complexity defining solution functionality designing solutions developing and maintaining solutions over time. The Senior System Administrator NetSuite will be handson and be involved in the support of managing NetSuite in a diverse working environment. This individual will apply proven communication analytical and problemsolving skills to help maximize the benefit of IT system investments.
Responsibilities
Description
The Enterprise Applications team is responsible for establishing and configuring enterprise software applications providing training to IT staff and employees supporting users and troubleshooting issues.
Your daytoday job will consist of:

- Customization of PowerSchools NetSuite instance using SuiteScript in support of key business initiatives inclusive of maintaining and creating new scripts
- Support integration of NetSuite with other platforms includingSalesforce
- Analyze business needs and facilitate design review & training sessions with technical and business stakeholders
- Prepare and deliver saved searches reports recommendations or alternatives that address existing and potential trouble areas in operating NetSuite across the organization
- Manage system enhancement projects in accordance with established SDLC and agile methodologies
- Create systems documentation including business requirements documents functional designs user manuals test scripts test plans and training materials
- Work collaboratively across teams and/or independently to design and build solutions on the NetSuite SuiteScript and SuiteBuilder platform using progressively complex capabilities
- Administration of new enhancements: creation of custom functions processes forms reports workflows
- Develop reports dashboards and processes to continuously monitor data quality and integrity
- Manage security users roles profiles groups queues and other NetSuite setup options as necessary
- Serve as a subject matter expert on items related to NetSuite and SuiteApps
- Coordinate and perform indepth tests including enduser reviews for modified and new systems and other postimplementation support
- Identify opportunities for automation to increase quality and speed of processes.
- Prioritize tasks manage time effectively and work on projects in parallel.

Qualifications
Qualifications
To be considered for and to perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge skill and/or ability required.
Qualifications include:
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science Engineering or related technical field preferred
- 4 years of experience as a NetSuite Developer or NetSuite Administrator required
- NetSuite SuiteFoundation Administrator and SuiteCloud Developer Certifications desired
- Track record of multiple successful NetSuite and similar ERP fulllifecycle implementation
- Hands on knowledge and proven competency coding in SuiteScript
- Deep knowledge of NetSuite functionality and the coding that brings about this functionality
- Highly skilled at coding in HTML CSS JavaScript
- Experience with revenuebased functionality such as Advanced Revenue Management and Fixed Asset Management
- Experience working with the Electronic Bank Payments SuiteApp
- Knowledge of the NetSuite Dunning module
- Experienced in SuiteAnalytics and SuiteAnalytics Connect
- Hands on knowledge of Salesforce Coupa Boomi a plus
- Has a professional image and builds strong relationships across functions
- Excellent analytical mathematical and creative problemsolving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills while maintaining objectivity and proper understanding of a problem or situation when placed under stressful conditions
- Excellent listening and interpersonal skills with ability to communicate and explain complex concepts across functions and levels of the organization
- Must have the ability to make recommendations to effectively resolve problems or issues using judgement that is consistent with standards practices policies procedures regulation or government law
- Ability to conduct research into NetSuite issues and related products as required
- Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and userfriendly language
- Highly selfmotivated and directed and work well as with a team while learning software capabilities handson and willingness to be selfdriven in ongoing skills development
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a highpressure environment
- Ability to research and analyze information from a variety of sources to determine best go forward path
- Familiarity with integrated application platforms and the impact of data quality on the successful transformation of information between systems
