Job Description
If you are a caregiver and raising or have raised of a child with emotional or behavioral challenges join our team as a Family Partner. Life can be stressful and challenging Family Partners are a parent/legal guardian/foster parent who have lived experience having raised or are raising children with social/emotional challenges or other special needs. In this role you will work with caregivers whose children have social/emotional challenges providing impartial support education and empathy while assisting them in navigating child serving systems for their child(ren).
What You Will Be Doing to Make a Difference...
- Assist parent/caregiver with meeting the needs of the youth and meet one or more of the following purposes: educating supporting coaching modeling and guiding
- Educating teaching the parent/caregiver how to navigate the child serving systems and processes
- Will be working with a team of supports and providers to meet the needs of the youth and family
- Driving is required

- Experience as a parent/legal guardian/foster parent of a youth with special needs and preferably a youth with mental health needs
- At least one year of professional experience within the Social Services
