ExpertHiring is seeking a passionate and dedicated General Studies Teacher to join our outstanding faculty. The ideal candidate will foster a nurturing and academically rigorous environment while integrating critical thinking collaboration and creativity into daily instruction.Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement engaging lesson plans in English Language Arts Math Social Studies and Science that align with Common Core and schoolspecific standards.
Use differentiated instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
Integrate technology and handson learning experiences to support student achievement.
Foster a positive inclusive and respectful classroom culture.
Assess and monitor student progress regularly; communicate with families and support staff.
Collaborate with colleagues and participate in team meetings and professional development.
Uphold the mission and values of Pressman Academy in all teaching and learning activities.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Education or a related field (Masters preferred)
Valid California Teaching Credential or equivalent certification
Prior experience teaching elementary or middle school students
Strong classroom management skills and a passion for education
Experience in a Jewish day school or openness to learning about Jewish values and traditions is a plus
