We are seeking a talented individual to join our Alternative Investments team at Marsh McLennan. This role will be based in Cluj Romania. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office. The Senior IT Business Analysis Specialist will ensure the delivery of a portfolio of investment applications that serve our Private Equity and Hedge Funds advisory teams playing a critical role in enhancing and maintaining essential Global Investment business systems.

We will count on you to:

• Gather document and refine business operations and system requirements in collaboration with business teams and technical subject matter experts;

• Translate business needs and requirements into use cases detailed technical specifications user stories and functional documentation ensuring alignment with system designs;

• Collaborate with technical teams and thirdparty vendors to ensure compliance with regulatory security and IT governance standards and to remediate obsolescence and technical debt;

• Investigate triage diagnose and resolve complex application & performance issues providing ongoing support for highseverity incidents and ensuring service availability;

• Assist with testing application enhancements upgrades and disaster recovery (DR) processes;

• Ensure current and accurate documentation of products including architecture diagrams upgrade schedules user guides training materials and testing documentation;

What you need to have:

• 7 years of experience as a Business Analyst preferably in IT investment management investment operations or financial services.

• Bachelors degree with majors in computer science mathematics or finance is preferred.

• Strong Excel skills including formulas calculations and data analysis; VBA macro coding is a plus.

• Fluent spoken English is required with strong skills in business writing.

What makes you stand out:

• Relevant professional certifications such as CBAP PMIPBA SAFe Agilist or ITIL is beneficial.

• Experience with tools and software such as Power BI Qlik Tableau BPMN Visio Lucidchart Figma Smartsheet and Camunda;

• Experience working with remote crossfunctional teams in an Agile environment demonstrating collaboration and teamwork;
