Food & Beverage Supervisor (Functions) Royal Sydney Golf Club
Join the team at one of Australias premier private members clubs! Royal Sydney is located in stunning Rose Bay and is seeking an experienced Food & Beverage Supervisor to elevate our Private & Club Function offerings. You will play a key role in delivering and maintaining exceptional service standards and creating memorable experiences for our members and guests.
The Role:
Assist in managing the daily operations of the Functions Department overseeing operational logistics and leading a dynamic team. Reporting to the Functions Operations Manager your responsibilities will include ensuring smooth event maintaining 5star service excellence and supporting management with ongoing training for staff.
This is a fulltime role requiring availability to work a rotating roster including weekdays evenings and weekends in line with event activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise event setup takedown and serve as the main point of contact ensuring smooth operations.
- Establish strong relationships with members promoting repeat events.
- Support and assist management with staff rosters recruitment and training.
- Perform general administration and coordination of the daytoday requirements for the Functions team with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Oversee events from start to finish ensuring highquality professional service that aligns with the Clubs standards and allocated budget.
- Foster a culture of open communication support and collaboration.
Who We Need:
- Experience working in a similar role within Functions and/or Events operations.
- Knowledge of sequence of service for events and extensive food and beverage knowledge.
- An ability to prioritise workload manage time and scheduled tasks whilst remaining resilient and adaptable to changing priorities.
- Strong leadership skills and experience managing up to 10 staff.
- Expertise in food and beverage pairings.
- Food Hygiene Certification and NSW RSA qualification.
- Strong communication skills with a demonstrated passion for excellence in customer service.
- Working rights in Australia.
