MoranAssistant Superintendent of Human ResourcesSubject:School Nurse for the Summer School Literacy and Professional Learning (SSLP) BPS Right to Read Summer Program The Summer School Literacy and Professional Learning (SSLP) program is an innovative initiative that will integrate coursework and practicum experiences designed to support the development of structured literacy practices critical for addressing weaknesses in reading. This twofold program will support both students and teachers. Students in need of additional support with literacy in grades K2 will receive targeted and evidencebased instruction from participating teachers; at the same time those participating teachers will receive professional learning and coaching in evidencebased early literacy practices. QualificationsMA DESE Licensed School Nurse or equivalentCurrently serving as a School Nurse or Nurses Aide in the Brockton Public SchoolsResponsibilities:Serve as onsite nurse for Right to Read program at the George Dates: June 30 2025August 1 2025 (No program July 4 2025 Site Supervisor Hours: Prework 5 hours (flexible times) 8:00 AM 12:30 PM during the program : Summer Program & PreWork FY26 Contractual Rate (TBD) Funding Source: Title I FY25
