2025 Verizon/Greenberg Traurig PreLaw Internship Program

Verizon Communications Inc. (Verizon) and Greenberg Traurig LLP (Greenberg Traurig) are seeking two Scholars for their paid summer 2025 Verizon/Greenberg Traurig PreLaw Internship Program. Eligible candidates must be a current Junior or Senior enrolled fulltime and in good academic standing at one of the colleges listed below. Candidates must also be planning to apply to law school within one year after graduation from the college or university they are currently attending.

What you will be doing . . .

This program will introduce you to the complex nature of inhouse legal practice at Verizon along with access to the variety of practice areas and innovative client strategies of Greenberg Traurig a major international law firm. During this 10week internship program you will begin your summer at one of Verizons corporate offices in Washington DC or Basking Ridge NJ or Irving TX and spend your last five weeks at one of Greenberg Traurigs offices in either Washington DC or Florham Park NJ or Dallas TX. Right from the start youll contribute to meaningful projects in Verizons inhouse legal department and will be exposed to a variety of work assignments from different practice areas at Greenberg Traurig. You will have the opportunity to work with some of the best attorneys in the legal field. What you learn during this internship will help you grow both professionally and the internship is successfully completed you will have mentors who can help you navigate your legal career from the start and you will become part of Verizons Intern Alumni Network with benefits such as exposure to top law firms and inclusion in our annual alumni events.

In the cover letter applicants should describe what distinguishes them from their peers their defining achievements preparedness for law school and a demanding legal career and examples of challenges faced and overcome. how participation in the Verizon/Greenberg Traurig PreLaw Internship Program will enhance their education about and pursuit of a career in law. The expected pay range for this position is:

$27 per hour

Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience location and other jobrelated factors permitted by law.
