The Business Architect will beleading prediscovery architecture and design activities for modernization of Business Directory (BD) and nbsp;

Responsibilities: and nbsp;
- Develop enterprise architecture deliverables and artifacts in alignment with Ontario Government Enterprise Architecture processes and practices. and nbsp;
- Utilize frameworks such as the Zachman Framework to design business information application technology and security architectures. and nbsp;
- Analyze information relevant to business architecture and conduct focus group workshops with stakeholders. and nbsp;
- Model business processes and capabilities at the enterprise and core business levels including capability models and architectural solutions. and nbsp;
- Provide project management for largescale complex and highprofile IT initiatives ensuring adherence to standard methodologies. and nbsp;
- Ensure project deliverables meet clients business requirements budget and timelines while maintaining compliance with OPS project management frameworks. and nbsp;
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and analyze business requirements integrating ITenabled opportunities to address business needs. and nbsp;
- Facilitate communication negotiation and consensusbuilding among diverse stakeholders. and nbsp;
- Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks and issues throughout project lifecycles. and nbsp;
- Overcome resistance to change and capitalize on supportive forces at all project stages. and nbsp;

- Mastery of various methods techniques and tools for business architecture including but not limited to business functional modeling service lifecycle modeling business event modeling business process mapping and value chain analysis. and nbsp;
- Deep understanding of diverse business environments with a focus on government settings including familiarity with key business drivers in these contexts. and nbsp;
- Proven ability to identify and analyze business requirements ensuring alignment with organizational objectives. and nbsp;
- Knowledge and experience in leveraging information technology to integrate solutions and identify ITenabled opportunities that address business pressures and needs effectively. and nbsp;
- Excellent communication facilitation negotiation and consensusbuilding skills essential for effective stakeholder management and project . and nbsp;
- Demonstrated experience as a business architect adept at modeling business structures at both enterprise and core business levels for medium to large organizations. and nbsp;
- Proficiency in the Zachman Framework encompassing business information application technology and security architectures. and nbsp;
- Ability to advocate for and promote I and amp;IT project management best practices ensuring adherence to standard methodologies for successful project delivery. and nbsp;
- Proactive identification of potential risk events and issues with the ability to develop mitigating strategies to circumvent challenges. and nbsp;
- Aptitude in articulating and prioritizing issues and risks at senior executive levels recommending mitigation strategies and employing effective change management strategies throughout project lifecycles. and nbsp;

- Experience working within public sector or large corporate environments with an understanding of the unique challenges and constraints faced in these settings. and nbsp;

- Knowledge and understanding of Accessibility for Ontarians with Disability Act (AODA) and related regulations and standards. and nbsp;

- Experience in supporting business transformation initiatives by designing target operating models defining transition states and developing implementation roadmaps. and nbsp;
- Knowledge of architectural governance principles and practices including ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational standards. and nbsp;

Business Architect Experience 40: and nbsp;
- Proficiency in frameworks such as the Zachman Framework TOGAF (The Open Group Architecture Framework) or other relevant frameworks. and nbsp;
- Handson experience in developing enterprise architecture deliverables and artifacts such as models adhering to Enterprise Architecture processes and practice. and nbsp;
- HandsonExperience in developing enterprise architecture deliverables such as architectural blueprints roadmaps and solution architectures. and nbsp;
- Awareness of information security principles and best practices including security architecture and compliance requirements. and nbsp;
- Proven ability to gather analyze and document business requirements from stakeholders across different business units and levels. and nbsp;
- Experience in effectively managing stakeholders including facilitating workshops conducting interviews and building consensus among diverse groups. and nbsp;
- Experience in supporting business transformation initiatives by designing target operating models defining transition states and developing implementation roadmaps. and nbsp;
- Experience in developing detailed implementation plans that outline the steps resources and timelines required to execute business architecture initiatives effectively. and nbsp;

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively facilitate negotiate and build consensus. and nbsp;
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills to effectively convey complex technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders and drive decisionmaking processes. and nbsp;
- Proficiency in facilitating workshops meetings and focus groups to gather requirements drive consensus and foster collaboration among stakeholders with varying perspectives and interests. and nbsp;
- Strong negotiation skills to resolve conflicts address competing priorities and reach mutually beneficial agreements in crossfunctional teams. and nbsp;
- Excellent interpersonal skills including active listening empathy and cultural awareness to establish rapport build trust and foster effective communication with diverse stakeholders. and nbsp;
- Ability to prepare executivelevel reports presentations and documentation that articulate business architecture concepts strategies and recommendations in a compelling and persuasive manner. and nbsp;
