You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailWe are looking for a Business Analyst with expertise and experience in designing and developing applications including new developments improvements maintenance and support. The role involves continuous collaboration with partners iterative understanding of the platform to build well written requirements following standard methodologies thorough understanding of the product roadmap and owning up responsibilities for the overall product quality.
Requirement Elicitation: gather and document detailed requirements from stakeholders ensuring that the development team has a clear understanding of what needs to be built.
User Stories and Use Cases: create user stories and use cases that help developers understand the functionality from the users perspective.
Prioritization: help prioritize features and tasks based on business value and urgency.
Communication: facilitate communication between stakeholders and the development team ensuring that everyone is on the same page.
Solution Validation: validate the developed solutions against the requirements to ensure they meet the business needs. Conduct testing and gather feedback to ensure quality and functionality.
Change Management: manage changes to requirements and ensure that any modifications are properly documented and communicated to the development team.
Process Improvement: analyze development processes and suggest improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Documentation: create and maintain comprehensive documentation including requirements user manuals and training materials which are essential for future reference and onboarding new team members.
Risk Management: identify potential risks in the development process and propose mitigation strategies to ensure smooth project execution.
Stakeholder Engagement: engage with stakeholders to gather feedback and ensure that the software aligns with business goals and user expectations.
Experience as an analyst in the finance domain.
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Understand and evaluate business requirements identify gaps analyze existing platform capabilities and come up with a plan for implementation.
Document results of analysis and share with stakeholders.
Attention to detail for accurately capturing requirements and ensuring that nothing is overlooked.
Good understanding of software development processes methodologies (like Agile and Scrum) and basic technical concepts to effectively communicate with the development team.
Lead multiple development work streams
Be the goto person for any questions related to business requirements. Collaborate with developers on a daytoday basis.
Pursue dependencies / enhancement requests with other teams/partners so that they are addressed in a timely manner. Understand the right collaborators to be contacted set up and chair meetings to clearly articulate requirements and set expectations then follow up through to closure.
Determine the best way to split development work in the form of Jira stories. Create highquality Jira stories by adhering to Agile practices. Drive refinement sessions.
Ability to give highimpact presentations and demos to senior management and representing the team at important forums in the organization
Proactively lead process improvement initiatives.
Experience in managing large scale technical programs and projects with multiple streams of deliverables resolving challenges mitigating risks and working through dependencies while collaborating with stakeholders to ensure milestones are met.
Knowledge of testing methodologies and the ability to validate solutions against requirements to ensure they meet business needs.
Identify initiate and implement efficiencies that result in improved quality and effectiveness in the projects.
Ability to think critically and creatively to find solutions to business problems and challenges
The ability to manage relationships with various stakeholders understand their needs and ensure their expectations are met is key.
