Position Summary
This program is an 11week fulltime opportunity that provides real work experience with a team in your business area. You will be aligned to projects to lead or contribute to while also participating in networking development and career exploration activities. Our Corporate Interns can apply for future fulltime roles during the program and have an increased likelihood to receive an offer for a postgraduation role.
The summer internship program is from May 28 August 8 2025.
CVS Health follows a 3 day in office (generally Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday) hybrid work model providing officebased colleagues the ability to flex between working in the office and working from home based on the work you need to accomplish. The other 2 days each week will be working remotely from home office or another location of your choice.
Our office location for this role is Scottsdale AZ. A housing stipend may be provided based on eligibility and interns will be given the opportunity to connect with each other prior to the start of the program to coordinate housing if desired. TThe hourly rate is $23.00 working 40 hours per week. Interns will not work on July 4th (company holiday) and will receive two days of paid leave. Please disregard the range listed below.

What you will do
As an HR Technology Intern you will:
Develop solutions using HR platforms and cloud technologies
Enhance employee & candidate experiences by automating processes and integrating AIdriven insights
Work on enterprisescale applications involving data analytics microservices and APIs
Collaborate with business and technology teams to design build and deploy software solutions
Gain handson experience with cloud computing UI frameworks CI/CD pipelines and distributed systems
Engage in development opportunities to own a concept develop a plan and deliver highquality software
This is a handson technology role in a fastpaced agile environment offering mentorship technical training and exposure to cuttingedge HR technologies.
Work visa sponsorship is not available for this role. This includes participation in Curricular Practical Training (CPT) Optional Practical Training (OPT) and F1 Visa programs.
Required Qualifications
Meet Education Requirements
Experience designing and building software applications
Proficiency in one or more programming languages: Java Python Ruby PHP C C# SQL JavaScript
Experience with UI frameworks: Angular React
Cloud development experience
Preferred Qualifications
Leadership experience (e.g. student organizations projects sports or internships)
Experience leading a school or workrelated project
Strong written and verbal communication skills
An interest in obtaining fulltime position within CVS Health upon graduation.
Internship or work experience in a related technology field
Experience with distributed systems APIs and data analytics
Ability to troubleshoot issues identify performance bottlenecks and optimize scaling
Handson experience with CI/CD tools such as: Git Artifactory Jenkins Docker Kubernetes
Ability to work independently adapt to change and drive innovation
Education
Currently pursuing a Bachelors degree program with an expected graduation date between December 2025 and August 2026
Preferred majors include: Computer Science Information Systems Information Technology
