As an IT Auditor youll be supporting the Group to secure its data and systems from external and internal threats by analyzing and assessing the Groups IT systems and infrastructure to ensure systems are secure efficiently managed providing accurate data for decisionmaking and is compliant with the relevant policies regulations and frameworks.

This will help us excel at employing a systematic disciplined and dataforward approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of risk management control and governance processes to stay ahead of the game.

What youll be doing

As part of your role your responsibilities will include:

• Perform independent IT risk assessments to identify high risk areas that require independent assurance.
• Conduct IT related audits as guided by the riskbased audit plan to assess the governance and management of data integrity security software development and IT governance within the business including but not limited to:
  • Pre and postimplementation reviews of system implementations or enhancements.
  • Reviews of IT management policies and procedures such as change management business continuity planning/ disaster recovery and information security to ensure that controls surrounding these processes are adequate.
  • Evaluate application and IT general controls and test compliance with those controls.
  • Systems development audits to verify systems meet development standards.
  • Systems and application audits that evaluate whether systems and applications are controlled reliable efficient secure and effective.
  • IT security audits including evaluating security vulnerabilities and whether they are properly identified and mitigated.
  • Project assurance to assist management in improving organizational efficiency and effectiveness and minimize risk.
  • Cloud maturity and governance reviews to confirm adherence to policy and best practice.
• Provide the business with guidance and recommendations on IT risk management with particular focus on applications infrastructure and security.
• Draft internal audit reports that are balanced objective and supported by adequate audit evidence to influence the management of key risks.

Essential skills youll bring to the table

The necessary skills that we require for this role include:

• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and effectively
• Experience working collaboratively in crossfunctional teams with a focus on achieving shared goals
• Expertise in managing multiple projects simultaneously with a track record of delivering on time and within scope
• Exceptional attention to detail ensuring high standards of quality in all outputs
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing environments and priorities maintaining effectiveness in dynamic situations
• Tertiary education in Information Systems/Security / similar
• At least 4 years IT auditing experience in the eCommerce industry
• Extensive working knowledge of IT auditing requirements/ standards and methodology
• Good knowledge of IT risk and control principles
• Good understanding of multiple information technology domains including software development operating systems database management information and network security to identify vulnerabilities that could compromise the business
• Cyber security experience
  

Desirable skills youve got up your sleeve

It would be great if you also have some of the following skills:

• Indepth knowledge of sports betting markets including odds calculation betting types and market trends
• Previous experience in the online gaming or casino industry with a strong understanding of player behaviour and industry regulations
• Familiarity with gambling regulations and compliance requirements in various jurisdictions ensuring adherence to legal standards
• Experience in developing and executing customer retention strategies
• Use of audit software would be advantageous
• Basic Finance and Accounting knowledge
• Experience in running multiple projects
• ISO Certification
