Job Description
Our Client is looking to add a Digital Solutions Architect to its IT Architecture department.
Were looking for someone who can
- Provide technical leadership and guidance on the implementation of longterm digital solutions that align with Clients strategic goals as well as interim tactical plans for managing and maintaining corporate solutions.
- Define and document scalable robust and secure digital architectures tailored to Clients requirements including but not limited to business infrastructure application security data and service architectures.
- Create comprehensive models to depict the as is to be and transitional states of solutions.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on nonfunctional engineering requirements and security controls.
- Work closely with other team members to support end to end traceability across the various level of models created for architecture and design.
- Prepare technology solutions options and analysis recommendations to meet business needs.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation and continuous improvement in Clients digital solutions.
- Provide mentoring and guidance to others on all aspects of solution architectures and IT technologies with a focus on digital solutions.
- Provide technical leadership to ensure technical integrity and consistency throughout a solutions lifecycle stages.
- Develop/support/evaluate RFI/RFPs and Total Cost of ownership (TCO) to support business cases.
- Develop technology strategies roadmaps and patterns to support Clients Digital journey.
- Provide input to the continuous improvement of Architecture processes and practices.
Qualifications
- Postsecondary education in a computerrelated discipline or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 10 years experience in IT and at least 5 years experience with enterpriselevel solutions.
- Proven experience as a Solutions Architect Digital Architect or similar role with a focus on digital transformation projects.
- Strong knowledge and experience implementing digital technologies including Cloud Platforms APIs and data management.
- Demonstrated leadership experience working independently and within a team environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Solid organizational skills and the ability to selfmanage multiple concurrent priorities
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies and lifecycles.
- Experience with agile and DevSecOps practices/processes.
- Demonstrated experience creating solution models and technical writing.
- Experience with common IT architectural frameworks (TOGAF COBIT Zachman SABSA etc..
- Experience with Archimate is an asset.
- Experience in business analysis and requirements gathering is an asset.
- Knowledge of the Lottery and Gaming industry is also an asset.
