Your future duties and responsibilities:

Coordinate and support the technical team to identify technical solutions for large scale big data processing in EO domain by: analyzing the requirements designing SW architectural components defining product release identifying HW and SW solutions for products release researching emerging technologies solutions to address products evolution

Coordinate the design implementation by: ensuring a proper sharing and maintenance of technical knowledge acting as escalation point for technical decision supporting the technical assessment definition for a proper planning being responsible for the quality of the deliverable by defining internal review process

Act as a Team Member by: participating to code reviews performing deployments to Kubernetes implementing proofofconcepts leading troubleshooting sessions producing demonstration and training scripts (e.g. in Python) writing user documentation.

Be the technical contact point for the client

Ensure proper implementation of modern software practices such as TDD CI/CD.

Support the definition of technical proposals for new business development: identifying possible technical solutions providing assessment of implementation effort.

Team coaching

Provide accurate feedback to your management and corporate stakeholders

Taking a keen interest in our journey not just tasks executions.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Minimum 3 years of working experience in this role
Technical competence in the IT Big Data and Cloud domain e.g. parallel and distributed processing containers and container orchestration
Proven experience with different Cloud providers (e.g. AWS GCP Azure
Fluent spoken and written English.

Desirable qualifications
EO competence including source data data processing techniques applications
Knowledge of data catalogues and OGC standards
Degree and / or Master in Computer Science or Computer Engineering

This is a permanent contract position with the possibility to do part of the work activity in smart working.
