Job Description

TO: All Teaching and Administrative Personnel Brockton Public SchoolsFROM: Dr. Kathleen F. Moran Assistant Superintendent of Human ResourcesSUBJECT:Future Educators Club (FEC) Advisor (One per middle school)Minimum Qualifications:Ability and desire to introduce middle school students to the field of education Duties and Responsibilities:Advertise and recruit middle school students for participation in FECSchedule after school club meetings and eventsAttend up to two onehour meetings in preparation for club kickoff datePrepare and share agenda of meetingsMaintain data on attendance of students and report to the FEC supervisorShare resources with other FEC advisors Track and maintain data on attendance of students Complete Diversification Grant requirementsDevelop a sustainable plan to continue club in subsequent school years Compensation: $2000 Stipend Grant Funded (Teacher Diversification Grant)
